After an 18 year study, a preventative medicine research facility at Autonoma University of Madrid, Spain has found that, for women, drinking coffee does NOT increase your risk of death from heart disease, cancer, or anything else, for that matter... In fact, drinking 2-3 cups of caffinated coffee per day can reduce your risk of heart disease by 25%, in addition to reducing your risk of dying "from something other than cancer or heart disease compared to non-coffee drinkers" by 18%. I'm not really sure what that last part means (maybe you are less likely to get hit by a bus?) but as a coffee fiend of the highest degree, I really don't care.... Drink coffee to reduce your risk of heart disease? Not a problem, Dr.!! :D
