City Life

After a very long year, full of difficulty, fun, and all things new and different, I find myself back in the city. Not the same city, no, but a great city. I wander around my new apartment, strewn with the bits of lives past that travel with me in the present, and I can't help but smile. I can't believe I live here! This is what I have been missing, what my heart has been searching for. The easy beat, the fluid stories, the unexpected days. I feel surrounded by the familiar unfamiliarity, and the sense of relative anonymity that I have so missed. This is exactly where I want to be right now, in all ways. Things are definitely looking up...
