Changing Seasons
Fall is coming. I have smelled it at night for a couple of weeks now, that crisp smell that reminds me of walking through the crunchy colored leaves of fall. Summer's grip is loosening, and the hazy hot days will soon blend into cool, calm nights. Everything green is subdued, duller now than it has been for awhile, and the flowers of summer are showing their last smiling blooms, giving way to the saturated colors of their fall counterparts. The beauty of Indian summer is unrivaled: the vibrant palette of browns, mixed with the bright reds and yellows... The chilled, dewy mornings curl shivering, foggy fingers around you, blocked only by a big cushy sweater, which will be cast aside later as the day turns bright and hot. Yay! :D
